Agios Ioannis beach

Agios Ioannis beach

The picturesque and pristine beach of Agios Ioannis owes its name to the Monastery of Agios Ioannis Siderianos, located nearby. It is divided into three small sections, all covered with sand. Two of them are easily accessible while getting to the third is more difficult but worth it. The most impressive one is the third with its high white cliffs. The beach of Agios Ioannis rarely gets crowded with people due to the difficult access, so it is ideal for those who seek privacy and relaxation.

It is located in the southwestern part of Milos and it doesn't have any amenities. It is not an easy drive to get to the beach, as 10 to 20 km is on a narrow dirt road.  Although it is relatively small, it is very impressive and definitely worth a visit.
