Katergo beach
Katergo beach is located on the south side of the island not far from the beach of Gerontas. It is a very small cove surrounded by white cliffs. The beach with the thick pebbles and the crystal-clear waters is completely isolated so you should be equipped with water and a beach umbrella for the hot sun. The rocky seabed makes the beach ideal for snorkeling.
It is accessible by a dirt track, in a relatively good condition. The road starting from Provatas and heading towards Gerontas beach ends just before the entrance of the quarries. There is a parking lot there where you can leave the car and then take the path going downhill that leads to the beach. The descent is not very difficult and it won't take more than 10-15 minutes to reach the beach.
