Vintzi beach
Vintzi beach is located on the northern side of Chora, near the imposing monument of Portara. It stretches along the path that connects Naxos Town with the main landmark of the island at the top of the peninsula. Although it is located so close to Chora and the island's main port, it has clear and blue waters. The view of Portara from the beach is truly magnificent. Due to its close proximity to the island's capital, it attracts many locals and visitors who come here for a quick dip. This beach is much quieter than the beach of Agios Georgios, and definitely one of the beaches worth visiting on Naxos. We would recommend staying until late afternoon to enjoy an amazing sunset.
