Dryos beach
Within the lush vegetation of the homonymous settlement, with many running waters, the beach of Dryos awaits those holidaymakers looking for something alternative, a different proposition than those usually offered by the cosmopolitan, buzzing beaches. The beach may well be included in your holiday program either as a day trip or as a base as there are plenty of accommodations for all tastes. Drios, with its many little taverns, under the shadow of towering armiriki, the same thick shadow, which you will also seek on the other side of the stone-built low wall as it spreads your towel on the fine pebbles mixed beautifully with white sand, is a perfectly satisfying solution for those who want a family holiday away from crowds. The waters have a distinctive deep blue color and are transparent and crystal clear. Another feature of the beach in Drios is the formation of its rocks with the deep grooves. According to the tradition of the island at this point they were taking their boats on the coast to protect the ancient inhabitants of Paros. Access to Drios, on the southeastern side of the island, is made possible by the central ring road that crosses Paros from side to side and can be reached either by your own means of transport or by regular public transport, which is served by the bus station Paros.
