Agia Dynami beach
This beach is a wonderful hidden gem. A superb sandy beach with emerald waters, a few trees for shade and relatively shallow water for a bit, so good for families. It is a completely unspoilt and secluded beach, named after the monastery of Agia Dynami which dominates the hill on the south of the bay. There are no changing or catering facilities so bring your own water and snacks, and get there early (or late) to grab a spot in the shade under the trees if you don't have an umbrella. If you are physically fit make the little hike to the second beach, you won’t regret it.
Agia Dynami beach lies in southern Chios, 36 km south-west of Chios Town and 7,3 km south of Olympi village. It is one of the best beaches on Chios and a visit to this beach can be combined with a visit to the nearby Olympi Cave. The imposing cave is only 1 km away and is worth a visit.
