Gavdos Folklore Museum
The Folklore Museum of Gavdos is located in Metochi (Sgoudiana) near Korfos beach at Gavdos Island.
Its founder and owner is Emmanuel Bikogiannakis, who collected all Gavdian day life tools, agricultural and shipbuilding equipment, traditional costumes, household items, etc.
The museum will still see the visitor the weaved, parchments, bags, bed sheets, towels with many improvised designs. There are also all household utensils, most earthenware, tsikalias, ladders, tetankeri lekeri and many more.
