Feast of Agios Efstathios

The annual celebration in honor of Saint Efstathios takes place at the historic Post-Byzantine Monastery of 1696 in Karya, Skopelos. On the eve of the feast, a vigil service begins at 7:30 PM, while on the day of the celebration, the Orthros (morning prayer) and Divine Liturgy start at 7:30 AM. Visitors can enjoy traditional Greek religious customs and soak in the unique spiritual atmosphere of this centuries-old monastery.
