The Feast of the Holy MaryOne of the nicest traditions of the island which attracts crowds of worshipers every year is the procession of the icon of Panagia from Moni Koimiseos Theotokou (Monastery of Dormition) to the church of Metamorfoseos (“Transfiguration”) on the 15th of August.
