Glyfada Golf Gardens
The golf course of Glyfada is located in the homonymous seaside suburb of southern Athens.
It was one of the first exclusive clubs in Greece, being a meeting point not only for Golf's friends but also for all the secular Athens. A host of Greek and foreign celebrities have been hosted on the premises, serving as a point of sport and meeting and exchange of ideas.
The 18-hole course (Par72) was designed by Donald Harradine and opened in 1966.
Golf of Glyfada has been hosting Tournaments since 1979, "Mediterranean Games" in 1992 and "PGA Senior Greek open" in recent years.
