Μετάφραση Greek Version

Korοkonisi is located on the west coast of Zakynthos near the mountain village of Kiliomenos. It is an impressive natural monument that stands out for the beauty of the landscape and the interesting rock formations. Korakonisi is a huge rock in the sea, connected to the land by a narrow strip. The formation of the rock creates a spectacular arch that exceeds 20 meters in height. A small fjord with crystal clear blue waters is formed between the rock and the land, perfect for swimming snorkeling and spear fishing. The seabed is really amazing and if you are a fan of snorkeling, you will love this spot. The very daring ones can dive from the arch.

Koronisi is not well-known even though there is a sign on the main road mentioning it. Getting there is not that easy. There is no public transport and the road is a bit rough. You will need to do a bit of walking, so you'd better wear flat shoes and not flip flops. The trail is rocky and steep, not recommended for the less mobile. There are hand rails but you do have to be careful. Although access is difficult at the end you will be compensated by the stunning beauty of this place. Koronisi is only for people who love finding little hidden treasures of nature.
