Vythouri beach
Vythouri is a magnificent beach with crystal clear turquoise waters behind mount Dirfis washed by the Aegean Sea. The beach is very small and rarely gets crowded. It offers complete isolation and is preferred by many naturists. It is sandy with small peddles. Due to the high cliffs that surround it, the sun shines over it hardly for six hours a day, in the summertime. It is a beach that mainly has a shade for the most part of the day. With no amenities for miles, visitors will need to carry water and food if they plan on staying for a significant amount of time. The beach attracts many nature lovers and free campers during the summer season. Vythouri beach has a wild beauty due to the rocks that surround it. It is located in northern Evia, 53 km away from Chalkida. Following the road from Psachna to Agios Athanasios, there is a sign to Petali, Glyfada and Vythouri. The last kilometers are on a dirt track but the view and the sea will for sure reward the visitor.
