Have you ever imagined skiing with a view over the Aegean Sea? If not, this is the right place to visit. Pelion Ski Resort Agriolefkes was founded in 1967 by the Hellenic Alpine Club of Volos but since 1997 is under the management of the Development Company of Magnesia S.A. (ANEM S.A.). Its proximity to the sea, offers visitors the unique advantage to enjoy mountain and sea activities all year round. The ski resort is located in Central Greece and offers 3.1 km of marked trails with 10% (0.3 km) of the total trails ideal for beginners, 83% (2.6 km) of the total trails being suitable for intermediate skiers and 7% (0.2 km) for the more advanced and expert of level skiers and snowboarders. The Lang-Lauf trail is unique in Greece and all over the world. You will find it in between a variety of trees with a wonderful view of the sea. All the slopes are approved by the International Ski Federation (FIS) and served by 5 lifts including a baby lift for beginners. Pelion ski resort is situated at an altitude of 1,471 meters above sea offering a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea and the Pagasetic Gulf. Night skiing events are organized for the bold ones every Saturday night.

In the heart of the resort, there is a warm and hospitable chalet named after the highest point of the resort. It includes rooms to stay as well as a restaurant and a café. On the resort’s premises operates one of the oldest ski schools in Greece with special classes for children 3 years and over, where you can take private lessons from experienced instructors. You can also find shops for buying or renting equipment, a first aid center and three parking lots with a total capacity of 800 vehicles. You can reach the resort by car following the Athens-Lamia motorway towards Volos. The trip duration is about 5 hours. Pelion Ski Resort is 2 km away from Chania, 8 km from Agios Lavrentios and 27 km from Volos and is open daily from 09:00 am to 16:00 pm from December to March. Note that the opening times can vary depending on the snowfall in the area. Other activities in the area include gun shooting, horse-riding, cycling, climbing and hiking.
