The starting point and ending of the route is made by the settlement of Nea Menemeni.
Intermediate stops:
a. Ruins from the Old Monastery of Agios Nikolaos
b. New Monastery of St. Nicholas
c. Mycenaean Acropolis, where the excavations are made by Professor G. Lolos and the University of Ioannina
d. Beach of Kanakia, where there is also a tavern for a meal or a drink
Return: Reverse trip to the Monastery of Agios Nikolaos and then passing through a gorge. Of course, there is always the possibility to stop at Canakia beach (6 km) and return from there by car.
Technical characteristics: Forest roads and paths.
