Hydra - Vlychos - Palamidas
From the coastal road of the main town in Hydra we reach the place Megalo (Big) Kamini, where ther is a natural harbour, a beautiful pebbled beach and traditional tavernas.
From Megalo Kamini and after 10 minutes walking on the earten coastal road we reach the traditional coastal settlement of Vlychos, with magical view and sunsets, offered for family tourism.There, we will also meet a 17th century bridge, the picturesque small churches of Saint Charalampos and further down Saint Karpos and Papilos (1815), also the one of Saint Paraskevi. The beach of Vlychos has got a very clean pebbled beach, ideal for kids.
After Vlychos you will meet Plakes Vlychos, a very beautiful and organised clean beach. There is also a hotel with a bar and a restaurant.
After 20 minutes of hiking we reach the coastal location of Palamidas, a beautiful beach with sand and thin pebbles. The Manor of Boulgaris and where the Turk Kapoudan Pasha used to live, is located there. Close to Palamida's beach exists a careenage. Finally, to Palamidas we can find many churches. At the area also there are many small Churches.
