Naxos Airport (JNX) is located on the eastern side of the island, just 3 kilometers from Naxos Town. Named after Apollo, the Olympian god of light and music, the airport has been in operation since 1992, serving the residents of Naxos and the surrounding islands. This state-run airport primarily handles domestic flights, with the majority of arrivals coming from Athens. The average flight time from Athens to Naxos is approximately 45 minutes
