Transportation

By Car: Kavala Airport is located 34 km from the city of Kavala and is easily accessible from the EO2 Kavala-Xanthi National Road or via Egnatia Odos (E90/A2) The journey to and from the city centre takes about 35-40 minutes.  

  • The city of Xanthi is 44 km away from the airport and the journey from the Airport is about 40-45 minutes. 
  • The village of Keramoti is 11 km away from the airport and the journey takes about 10-15 minutes.

By Public Bus: Transit bus service is provided between the Airport and the city of Kavala. There is a public bus stop in front of terminal building. Tickets can be purchased by the bus driver.  For more Information please click here.

By Taxi: 24/7 metered taxi service is available outside the Kavala Airport Terminal building. The journey from the Airport to Kavala city centre is about 35-40 minutes and the fare is 38€.
