Korasida beach
Korasida beach is among the dozens of beautiful beaches of Evia. It is a wonderful pebbled beach with crystal turquoise waters that lies in a scenic landscape. Korasida is surrounded by hills covered with trees, leaving only a long and wide strip of land that forms this amazing beach. The water is clear but like in many of the beaches in Evia, it deepens sharply. When it is not windy, the sea is inviting and ideal for snorkeling. Due to its geographical location, it is exposed to strong winds and the sea is often rough. The beach is not organized and you can only find some natural shade under the few tall trees. The hot Greek sun and the white pebbles on the coast make the heat unbearable, so try to have an umbrella with you.
Korasida beach is located on the southwest coast of Evia, near the village of Achladeri. The road is narrow and steep with many turns but very scenic since it crosses the mountain and offers breathtaking views over the endless blue of the Aegean Sea when approaching Korasida. Behind the beach, there is a parking lot and a few cafes and tavernas. Nearby, are also some studios and guest houses. Near the beach, there is a natural spring from which gushes digestive water that cures stomach and kidney diseases.
