Naousa or Aosa beach
Naousa also known as Aosa beach, is a charming beach on the east coast of Kythnos island. Located in a well-protected cove, it is a very quiet beach with a quaint little church on top of a rock on the left side. Within walking distance are the neighboring beaches Kouri and Zogkaki. All three of them are linked via a stepped footpath. The beach itself is golden sand and water is blue and clean. You will not find any sun loungers or any other facilities on the beach, but there are some tamarisk trees for shade. The little church of Agios Elenimonas on the small peninsula across the beach, is a nice place for a short walk. The path leading to the church runs along a narrow strip of land and offers breathtaking views. Reaching Naousa beach by car is easy, but parking space is limited. All in all, Naousa beach is a very serene beach, perfect for families or anyone who want to have a relaxing day on a nice beach with crystal-clear water.
