Fyriplaka beach
Fyriplaka Beach is located at the southern coast of Milos Island, next to the beach of Tsigrado, 22 kms away from the port of Adamantas. It is a large beach with imposing gigantic volcanic rocks, white sand and small coves. Fyriplaka beach consists of two parts, separating them a large rock. It has shallow crystal clear waters and part of the beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. The shallow waters makes the beach ideal for families with children. Behind the beach there are huge colorful volcanic rocks creating an amazing landscape. For those who want to avoid the crowds there are two more lonely beaches after the first.
It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Milos, and definitely it is worth a visit. Fyriplaka is easily accessible, however the last part of the road is unpaved. At the end of the road there is a small parking lot with a canteen. It is suggested to avoid visiting the beach when southern winds blow.
