Pounda of Marpissa beach
Pounta Marpissa beach is located on the south-eastern side of Paros island and is a sunken, crystal clear sandy beach with crystal blue waters, turquoise waters from the shades of eucalyptus and tamarisks that flood the beach, scattered with tasteful umbrellas and sun loungers. However, there is plenty of space if you want the shade of the trees and the hard surface of the sand to lay your towel. This beach is renowned for the Punda Beach Club, the cosmopolitan, buzzing, coastal club built amphitheatrically, which attracts thousands of young people each year. The beach of Punda Beach Club is located on the extended beach of Piso Livadi, which has been named after the homonymous settlement with the harbor and the characteristic beach, located a few kilometers north. Beware, it has nothing to do with the beach or the village of Punta, located to the west of Paros and from which the coastal connection with the opposite Antiparos is made.
