Therma beach

Therma Beach is a large-pebble beach near the village of Therma on the north coast of Samothrace. The beach has crystal-clear waters that get deep steeply. It has all the basic amenities including a beach bar, sunbeds, umbrellas, toilets, showers and changing cabins. The beach bar is the first to open on the island and is still the most famous. Various live music concerts are held here from time to time attracting plenty of young people from the two nearby campsites.

Therma Beach is located right next to the small port of the village, about 13,1 km (17 mins) from Kamariotissa the main port of the island, and about 11 km (14 mins) from Chora, the capital of Samothrace. It is very easy to get to the beach either by bus, car or moto. There is a large free parking lot at the port and a small canteen where you can get coffees, soft drinks and snacks. Just 1.1 km from Therma Beach is the small village of Therma where you can find tavernas, restaurants, mini markets and coffee shops, as well as studios and rooms for rent. Therma Beach may not be the best beach on the island, but it is worth a visit if you are in the area to visit Gria Vathra (natural pool) or the thermal springs of Therma.
