Laouti beach
Laouti beach is a popular beach with great view to the islands of Delos and Mykonos. It is located in the southeastern part of the island, about 6 km Tinos Town (Chora). This is a lovely sandy beach with crystal-clear and shallow waters, safe for young kids. It offers all kind of amenities as it is well-organized with a beach bar, parasols and sun loungers. In the wider area, you can find restaurants, taverns, mini-markets, hotels and rooms to rent. If you want to lay your towel away from the organized part, you can find natural shade under the trees lined along the beach.
Laouti beach is rather long. Its right end is adjacent to the beach of Agios Sostis while at the left end, there is the small chapel of Agia Kyriaki built on the rocks. Although, it is exposed to north winds, is very popular and it can get very crowded, especially in July and August. Reaching the beach is very easy, through the island’s road network but parking space is limited. During high season, buses run to the beach at regular intervals.
