Agios Nikolaos beach
The lovely beach of Agios Nikolaos is located on the south side of the island, between Agali and Livadaki. It's a small beach with some very slippery rocks on one end and sandy entrance into the water the other end. The beach offers fantastic clear blue water and natural shade under the tamarisk trees that are lined-up along the beach. Try to get there early for the best spots under the trees. You will not find sunbeds and parasols but there is a choice of two nice tavernas. One is on the beach, and the other provides a spectacular view.
At the top of a rock, a few meters above the pier stands the small chapel of Agios Nikolaos (St. Nicholas). The easiest way to reach the beach of Agios Nikolaos is by boat from the nearby beach of Agali. For hiking lovers, there is a short path (20') that starts on the right side of Agali beach. You can also walk from Ano Meria in around 45' minutes. The beach is nude-friendly.
