Damatria beach
Damatria is a large and very peaceful beach blessed with super clean turquoise waters. The coast is covered with pebbles and the sea bottom with silky smooth sand. A narrow strip of sand separates the shore from the water. The waters are shallow, ideal for families with kids. Damatria faces the tiny islet of Mira. A few sun loungers and parasols are available for rent but there is no beach bar, neither a canteen. Damatria beach is located in the area of Afiartis on the road to Karpathos Airport and is easily accessible by car. A small car park is also available.
