Vlychada beach

Nestled in a picturesque on the northwestern coast of Andros Island is Vlychada Βeach, a well-protected beach with sand, fine pebbles and crystal-clear blue water. This is a long beach, partly organized with umbrellas and sunbeds but also with plenty of free space for your own equipment or to lay your own towel. There are a couple of beach bars providing the basics including snacks, coffees and beverages and some parts with shade at the two ends of the bay. A big rock in the middle of the beach adds to the dramatic landscape and the beauty of the place.

Vlychada beach is located 12.5 km from Gavrio, Andro’s main port.  To reach the beach, you will have to drive a dirt track from Mirmigies village. Although it can take you a while to visit this beach, Vlychada will become one of your favorite beaches on the island. Vlychada is a secluded beach so it rarely gets busy. It is the perfect place to visit if you are seeking for a nice and tranquil beach to swim and relax. If you still have not added Vlychada beach on your bucket list, then you definitely should add it as soon as possible.
