Fellos beach
Fellos is an awesome beach with great views and gorgeous surroundings. A long pristine, sandy beach with beautiful blue waters, known for its cleanliness and tranquility. This beach is not organized so you may want to bring an umbrella although there are some tamarisk trees that line the beach that you can use for shade. Also, bring your own food and drink as the nearest taverna is 300 meters inland. Water is clear and great for snorkeling off either end of the beach. Swimming here is lovely because the beach is always sheltered from the prevalent summer winds (meltemia), but the sea gets deep quickly.
Fellos beach is located in the northwestern side of Andros Island, 5 km west from the port of Gavrio (10 minutes by car). You will find it as you head northwest from Gavrio, just after the village of Fellos. It is easily accessible by road, moreover parking is available directly at the beach, making it convenient for visitors. If you want to stay away from loud beaches with sun beds, umbrellas and DJ’d music, Fellos beach is the ideal place to visit. It is easy to find and always quiet. Furthemore, it is an excellent place for people who love fishing mainy beacause of its proximity to two other small, secluded beaches named Selki and Kourtali. These three beaches are separated by a reef which is also an excellent spot for fishing. All in all, this is a perfect, non-commercialized Greek beach.
