Psilos Gremos beach
Psilos Gremos is a large, sandy beach, located in the bay of Kefalos. Like most beaches in Kos, the sea is wonderful, so blue and shallow, suitable for families with kids. It is a peaceful beach and never overcrowded. Parts of the beach are fully organized with umbrellas, and sun decks. There is a tavern just off the beach supplemented by a snack bar on the beach. Those who want peace and relaxation away from facilities, can find plenty of free space. The entire area is covered by low vegetation so, there is no natural shade at all.
The distance that separates it from the main road is relatively short, with half of the road being paved. Parking won't be a matter since there is plenty of parking space along the beach. Psilos Gremos is an amazing beach, worth visiting at least once. It will definitely impress you and probably become your favorite beach on the island of Kos.
