Lardos beach

Lardos beach

This relatively secured bay is a mixture of sand and small pebbles. It is lovely and clean with plenty of sunbeds but just before the water’s edge some parts becomes very pebbly. This continues into the sea so you will probably need water shoes to be able to walk into the sea. The sea is stony ranging from small to quite big which makes it difficult for young children or non-swimmers to access it easily. The depth falls away fast as well. The water is crystal-clear and great for snorkeling. Some water sports are available but there aren’t any toilet facilities or cafes. The beachfront is nice and clean with a few restaurants where you can get a drink and something to eat. There is also a mini market as you go onto the beach that sells all the usual beach and tourist stuff, including snacks and water. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a quiet beach, less packed than Lindos beaches and Pefkos beaches on this side of the island.
