Nikolas beach

Nikolas beach is a cute little cove located on the rocky coastline at the northern tip of Rhodes, about 9km south of the capital city of Rhodes. Although the beach is located in one of the most tourist areas of the island, it is itself and oasis of calm. Much of the beach is made up of rocky areas and large stones rising above sea level but there is a small area of fine sand, suitable for families with children. The water is irresistible, shallow and clean and the landscape is awesome. The two parts are separated by a small lagoon which is shallow and warm and great for kids to play safely. Snorkeling and diving enthusiasts will be excited by the crystal-clear water and the rich underwater life. The beach is well equipped with loungers and shades randomly scattered on the rocks. There are toilets and showers for the visitors and a restaurant with chairs and tables placed in the water. Eating and relaxing with your feet in the water and little fish swimming around, is an unusual and unique experience. Nikolas beach is a very relaxing spot well worth a visit whilst on Rhodes. The beach is very similar to the neighboring beaches of Tasos and Oasis and is in close proximity to the famous beaches Faliraki, Kallithea and Kokkina beach.
