Prasonisi beach
Prasonisi (the Greek word for green island) is a cape at the southern-west part of the island of Rhodes. In the summer when water levels are low, it is a peninsula attached to Rhodes. In the winter with water levels high, Prasonisi becomes an island. A settlement that contains motels, restaurants, and stores is nearby.
There are two sandy bay areas, one facing the Aegean Sea with good waves, and the other in the Mediterranean Sea less windy and more family- friendly.
