Traganou beach
Traganou or Traounou is known for the cave located at one end of the beach. Unlike the other beaches in Faliraki, Traganou is not a sandy beach but a beach with pebbles that slopes gently and fascinates with its beautiful scenery. Its crystal-clear, deep, blue waters makes it a beloved choice for summer dips as well as for snorkeling. You can find some shade among the rocks which naturally separate the beach. Although it is used by many locals, it is never crowded.
It is quite long in length and parts of the beach are organized with sunbeds and umbrellas. You can also find some traditional fish tavernas at a short distance. Located, between Faliraki and Afandou beach, 15 km from the city of Rhodes and 3 from Faliraki, Traganou is a quite popular beach that can be reached easily by car. It is one of those beaches that you will love at first sight and you will return for sure.
