Paradise beach
Just off the main road outside Kinira, down an unmade road you will find this beautiful beach. The beach is golden sand with fantastic mountainous backdrop and lovely view to the tiny islet of Kinira. It has clear and shallow water that deepens gently, and amazing waves but you should be careful because you can get carried out quite far quite quick without realizing, so you have to be confident to go out further and children need to be watched carefully. Paradise is now a family beach from end to end with very good facilities. Sun loungers are available and there is also a beach bar for drinks if needed. Best times to visit this beach are early in the day or late in the afternoon and in the quieter months. Summer is just too busy and sunbeds are close with hardly any space between.
It is a steep dirt road down to the beach so you’d better park up on the main road and walk down. There are two carparks, both easily accessible but get extremely busy in peak season. There is also a bus to the beach from Thassos Town, however, it is a bit of a bus ride and also quite a walk to get to it from the bus stop.
