Agia Eleni beach
The cape Agia Eleni that has been named after the homonymous church is located in the south part of the town very close to the airport, 1km away from the small settlement Lefkonas. Right down from the church you will find the small pebbled beach with the crystal clear waters. Though not organized it is a pole of attraction for many swimmers. You can combine your visit to the beach with a walk to the church of Agia Eleni and the monastery of Agios Constantine which stands a little farther on the hill of Fragovouni. The cosmopolitan beach of Karfas is close to Agia Eleni.
