Agios Dimitrios beach
Agios Dimitrios Beach is picture post card perfect. An amazing beach, that goes hundreds of meters long with probably the best waters you can get on Alonissos. Light blue waters, so clean you can actually see all fish from the shore, without wearing a mask. The beach stretches around both sides of a narrow point with white pebbles on both sides and some sand. The sea gets deep quite quickly so be careful especially with young children.
Agios Dimitrios Beach has a couple of little snack bars, lots of sunbeds and umbrellas to laze around on and at one end an inflatable water slide and activity things for the young ones. Good to get there by 10am to get a good spot or rent an umbrella.
Agios Dimitrios beach is describing as the most beautiful beach on the island, therefore is very popular and can get very crowded. It is located in the northeastern coast of Alonissos, opposite the island of Peristera. If you like pebbles, you will love Agios Dimitrios.
