Roussoum Gialos beach
Roussoum Gialos is a beautiful bay protected from the waves, so the water is always calm. This beach is 10 minutes’ walk from the port of the island and a nice place for a swim if you are staying nearby. It is quite small but has lots to do. It is partly equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and there are some eating places close by. The beach is mainly pebbles mixed with coarse sand and has crystal-clear waters. It has a diving center and you can hire kayaks too. The beach is recommended for families with children but it is advisable to arrive early in the morning to find an umbrella. Behind the beach you can find lots of hotels and rooms to hire as well as a few small shops, selling all the basics.
