Μετάφραση Greek Version

Agios Petros beach

Agios Petros is a small but picturesque beach of sand and fine small pebbles, located in a small and protected bay, at the east of the island of Alonissos. The beach is surrounded by lots of pine trees and has clear and clean emerald water. There are no facilities here but there is some shade provided by the tall trees above the beach. It can be reached by boat or on foot from the village of Steni Vala. It is just a 15 minutes’ walk from the village where you can find various facilities including a supermarket and several tavernas. Due to the difficult access remains unspoiled and less crowded than other beaches, offering tranquility and relaxation to its visitors. The beach got its name from a small Byzantine chapel that once stood here, ruins of which can still be seen on the hill above. At its left, there is a wooden dock for small boats.
