Ligaria or Aligaries beach

The beach of Lygaria or Alygaria is located approximately 17.5 km from Skiathos Town. The bay of Ligaria and the adjacent bay of Kechrias, with a smaller beach named Kechrias, on the northern coastline of the island is a really wonderful area. We suggest not swimming when north winds are blowing.The route to reach those beautiful beaches is really wonderful, although you must cross a long dirt road through beautiful streams with running waters. You can get here and by sea with boats that depart from the old harbor of Skiathos.
