Armenopetra beach
Leaving Elios, the next beach to discover is Armenopetra. Her trademark, the standing rock standing on her left side. To reach Armenopetra, you will leave the main road and you will enter a downhill cement road, but it is quite close enough and you will need your special attention despite the blue waters of the beach and the magnificent view will reward you. Usually its waters are always very cool as cold indicating the existence of underground running water. Beautiful sunsets and from here a great view even to the village of Glossa. In the scenery you will notice how the trees are tilting (something that you find most on the north side of the island) as Armenopetra mainly during the winter is influenced by the northwest winds as it opens to the sea.
