Kalamitsa beach
It is one of the biggest beaches of the island and is located in the settlement of Kalamitsa. You will find umbrellas to protect yourselves from the sun as well as cafeterias and taverns. No matter how many tourists choose her crystal clear waters, the beach always remains peaceful and quite. The place is ideal for windsurfing and especially during the summer months. In a forest near Kalamitsa lies the tomb of Rupert Brooke, who was buried there according to his will. Along the beach there are many rooms to let and studios where you can stay.
