Vlychos beach
Vlychos is a seaside, picturesque village on the island of Hydra with wonderful views and magnificent sunsets. Next to the village lies one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on the island. It is covered with small gray pebbles and has crystal blue and shallow waters which make it very safe and suitable for families with young children. There is a beach bar and the beach is fully equipped with parasols and sun loungers.
Next to the beach stands the small church of Agios Charalambos at the top of the rock and many white houses. The seaside village is a 40–45 minutes’ walk from the port of Hydra. Alternatively, you can reach it by sea taxi or by one of the boats that make excursions to the beaches of the island. In Vlychos you will find traditional seaside tavernas with fresh fish and bars serving coffees and drinks. Vlychos is a favorite destination for those seeking tranquility and relaxation.
