Mandraki beach
The old naval port is located 15 minutes from the current port of Hydra and has one of the nearest beaches to the center of town. The crystal clear waters, pebble beach and range of water sports will keep you in the small Mandraki bay (which was the Miaouli shipyard) until sundown. You will notice the small castles to the right and left of the bay which were protected by a fleet of canons. The Mira Mare hotel is located on this beach and operates a beach bar and a restaurant.
