La Grotta beach
"La Grotta" is not a usual beach but a small rocky bay, located in Paleokastritsa. However, it is a beautiful place with deep, emerald waters, ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving. There is also a part for cliff jumping.
"La Grotta" is an amazing place, offering breathtaking views. Just above the beach, lies the famous La Grotta beach bar, where you can have drinks or food. The bar provides parasols and sun loungers on wooden platforms, placed on the rocks. To reach the beach, you have to go down approximately 140 steps. At night the bay is illuminated making the place idyllic for a drink under the stars. It is undoubtedly one of nature’s hidden gems, and a must if you’re in the area.
