A Secluded Paradise on the East Coast of Kefalonia
Located on the east coast of Kefalonia, Agia Eleni Beach is a hidden gem offering a peaceful and authentic escape from the crowds. To reach this secluded haven, you’ll need to drive up to the mountain village of Damoulianata and descend the narrow, steep road that leads to the beach. Along the way, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. While the road may be challenging, the journey is absolutely worth it, as this beach boasts white pebbles, sculpted rock formations, sea caves, and crystal-clear waters. Pro Tip: Stay until late afternoon to enjoy one of the island’s most stunning sunsets.
Agia Eleni Beach is a stunning limestone and shingle cove where the sea deepens quickly, reaching depths of 6-10 meters across the bay. This small and tranquil beach has no facilities, so be sure to bring water, snacks, and other essentials for a relaxing and hassle-free visit. Natural shade is limited, available only near the rocks on the left side of the beach, so come prepared for the sun. For a unique experience, bring your snorkel and mask to explore the vibrant underwater world. Adventurous visitors can dive from the rocks at the edges of the small cove, while children can have fun playing with the pebbles along the shore.
