Lazareta beach
Lazaretta beach is considered one of the best beaches of Psara. It has fine golden sand and clear, blue and relatively shallow waters. The natural shade, is limited to a few tamarisk trees, although not right next to the water. On both sides there are smaller beaches, which you can easily reach via paths. It isn’t equipped with any service but it offers peace and tranquility.
The beach lies at the south side of the isle, almost 1km from the village and is accessible on foot or by car. Hiking lovers can walk to the beach in about 10-15 minutes. The small chapel of Agios Charalambos is perched in the eastern part of the beach, adding to the beautiful scenery.
