Aspri Ammos beach
One of the most beautiful beaches in Greece is located on the west coast of Othonoi island. Aspri Ammos with its white, fine sand and the crystal-clear turquoise waters is a secluded beach which can be reached only by boat. The steep cliff at the back of the beach combined with the white sand and turquoise waters create a landscape of incredibly natural beauty. Some landslides, caused by heavy rainfall have covered part of the beach, however the beach is still quite large.
A little further on, there is the cave of "Kalypso", which according to legends, the nymph Calypso held Odysseus captive for seven years. The cave is close to the shore, is about 100 meters long, 20 meters high and is very impressive.
