Voutoumi beach
A wonderful pebbled beach on the north eastern coast of Antipaxos island. An exotic beach that considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean due to the stunning color of its water. Voutoumi is a small bay with shallow, crystal clear, turquoise waters, white sand, large white pebbles and dense vegetation of cypress trees that literally touch the shore. The shallow water makes the beach ideal for all ages while snorkeling near the rocks is a nice activity. This landscape of incredible natural beauty attracts a large number of visitors every summer to swim in its stunning waters.
The view from above is breathtaking. The waters are so transparent that the boats seem to be floating above the seabed. It is flooded by many tourists with boats coming to admire and enjoy its unique color waters. It is not organized but there is a tavern on the hill behind the beach that serves traditional food. During the summer months, there are daily excursions to the beach from Corfu and Paxos as well as from the mainland villages of Parga and Sivota. Visitors can also visit the beach by water taxi or speedboat from Gaios Port (only ten-minute distance).
