Kolitsani beach
An absolutely gorgeous beach with lovely calm and clear waters and amazing views out to Santorini. There is not much shade, so wear lots of suncream or go early in the morning. Not so many people either so there is lots of space, though the beach is rather small. On the beach there are no facilities so bring your own snack and water. This lovely beach is situated south of Chora and can be reached via a short path. If you are planning to visit it, our advice is to wear suitable shoes, not flip flops and have some water with you. Kolitsari is the easiest-accessible naturist beach on Ios and a welcome alternative to over-developed Mylopotas. Number of nudists vary day to day and include couples and singles of all ages, but you can also find clothed ones. The beach is sheltered on windy days and swimming there is always excellent. It is blissfully quiet making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy swimming. The beach is a short walk down from the small car park, or 30 minutes from Chora.
