Agioi Saranta beach

Agioi Saranta is one of the most exotic beaches, located close to Chorefto village, on the northern coast of Pelion. It is a magnificent large beach with fine sand and white pebbles, greenery that almost reaches the sea and crystal-clear blue waters. The water slopes gently and when there are no waves, the sea is transparent.  It is one of the most popular beaches in the area and definitely one of the most beautiful. It owes its name to the small chapel located nearby.

Agioi Saranta is famous for the huge rock so called "Kalogeros", located at the southern end, and from where the most adventurous dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean. It is a well-organized beach with umbrellas and sunbeds, provided by the beach bars and the tavernas. Easily accessible by car, from a narrow asphalt road, it attracts a large number of visitors during summer, especially in peak season. So, if you decide to visit it during that time you have to arrive early in order to find parking space. The beach is exposed to north winds and when such winds blow in the area, very high waves rise and need special attention.
