
Kremastos in Ypati
From the city of Ypati you will go down the provincial road to Agathonas Monastery until you reach the bridge. Here you will leave your vehicle and follow the marked and well-cleared path that leads to the Rodokalo Gorge.
In the first 15 minutes the trail is almost flat, through low vegetation consisting of oaks, plane trees, and willows. You will cross the wooden footbridge and start slowly climbing.
The path narrows somewhat, and in the last few meters before you meet the waterfall you will need to climb with the help of permanently mounted cords (be careful if the rocks are slippery enough).
The waterfall is 45 meters high and is known as Kremastos.
It is the last and largest of a total of 33 waterfalls, found in the gorge formed between the lower part of the Psilenos and Petrotos mountains, from the plateau of Rodocalos and below.
