Kremasto Nero
Kremasto Nero is located on the south side of Samothraki. There, the setting is different, wild and steep. Access is only by sea and when the visitor arrives there he sees something truly impressive. A waterfall falls to the sea from a height of 180 meters.
The waterfall was named Kremasto Nero for two reasons. The first because it falls into the sea and the second because in winter because of the many waters it does not touch the rocks, but it falls into the air. This waterfall is recorded as the highest in Greece, 4th in Europe and 11th on the planet. Some say it is the tallest in the world to fall into the sea.
